The Beginning – From Motorcycle Parts to Industrial Components (1956–1975)
Polyketting was founded in 1956 in The Hague, trading chains and sprockets for motorcycles. Over time, the portfolio expanded with transport chains, rollers and related industrial components.
In the early 1970s, we took a major step forward: the production of complete conveyor systems, primarily for the dairy industry.
This marked the shift from component supplier to system builder and resulted in the need for more space to build and in the move of the company towards Zelhem, in the east of the Netherlands.
